ALL exhibitors are required to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) from their insurance agent for Commercial General Liability and Worker’s Compensation prior to attending and participating in DC VegFest. Exhibitors performing, selling, or distributing products and services at DC VegFest must have the minimum insurance standards outlined below.

Commercial General Liability Insurance: You shall secure, at Your sole cost, commercial general liability insurance which shall protect You and Us from and against any and all claims arising out of or in connection with Your participation at DC VegFest. Your insurance shall cover all your activities associated with DC VegFest, with limits not less than $1,000,000 each occurrence, $2,000,000 in the aggregate. Such insurance shall include coverage for contractual liability, property damage, bodily injury (including death), advertising injury and personal injury liability, among other things. Limit requirements may be satisfied by combining primary and umbrella/excess liability policies. All policies shall be primary and noncontributory, written by insurance companies with an A.M. Best rating of A-IX or better in the latest edition of Best’s Insurance Guide and Key Ratings. Policies shall be endorsed to name Compassion Over Killing, Inc., as additional insureds.

Please bear in mind that Exhibitors are also required to carry the statutory limits of Workers’ Compensation Insurance. You shall maintain the necessary workers’ compensation insurance or qualified self-insurance to cover all your employees at DC VegFest.

COIS are due by July 26th. If the required information is not submitted by the due date, your spot to be an exhibitor will no longer be able to be held and will open up to exhibitors on the waitlist.
