DC VegFest organizers will purchase ingredients (up to $100) on behalf of presenters or reimburse presenters for ingredient purchases with receipts (up to $100). Please note any brand preferences or special notes. DC VegFest organizers will do our best to honor requests.
What equipment do you need on-site at the DC VegFest to prepare food and use during the cooking demo? (See note below about knives)*
Please note any brand preferences or special notes. We'll do do our best to honor requests. IMPORTANT NOTE: You are welcome and encouraged to bring your own equipment, however, venue security will not permit outside knives. If you’ll need a knife, please let us know and specify the type so we can coordinate with the venue to provide it for you.
Any special requests or cooking demo needs?

- I understand that there is NO access to an oven, grill, refrigerator or sink on-site at the DC VegFest. Cooking demo prep space is located in the Speaker Tent with access to electricity for small appliances.

- I understand that there is NO projection of my cooking demo by screen, projector or mirror. A table, podium and microphone are provided to each presenter.
Speakers are given a FREE booth at the DC VegFest. Will you use your booth space?*
- Yes, I intend to use my booth space and will be responsible for its setup and breakdown.
- No, I will not need a booth space.
Booth space includes one 6-foot table and one chair in a covered space but does not include a tent or staffing. If you need electricity please let us know. Speakers must abide by DC VegFest Exhibitor requirements outlined here.

Travel & Accommodation Logistics
The DC VegFest will arrange and pay for travel for out-of-town presenters. Please select your travel needs:*
- I'm local to the DC area and do not need travel arrangements.
- I'm traveling from outside the DC area and need the DC VegFest to make travel arrangements in my name.
- I'm traveling from outside the DC area and will make my own travel arrangements (reimbursable up to $350). I will coordinate with the DC VegFest to ensure my travel arrangements are known and approved.

- Location: The DC VegFest is located at Nationals Park located at 1500 South Capitol Street SE, Washington DC 20003
*
- Time: The DC VegFest officially starts at 11am and ends at 5:30pm with presentations running from 11:20am to 4pm.

- The DC VegFest is a RAIN or SHINE outdoor event!
*
- The DC VegFest is an all Vegan & Family-friendly event. Please keep your presentation positive, polite, appropriate for a kid-friendly audience and within your allotted time.

- Check-in: Head to the VIP Lounge. Upon check-in, you will receive your gift bag and $10 of free food vouchers (valid at any DC VegFest food vendor) and a reminder of the presentation schedule.

- The Main Stage: All cooking demos take place on the Main Stage, a large stage covered with a tent. Presenters are provided with a microphone, podium and table, but please note there is NO screen/projector/mirror. Presenters will have access to a secure area to store personal belongings during the event.

- Book Signings: If you plan to sign books following your presentation, please go immediately to the DC VegFest Book Seller booth. Your book(s), as indicated in this form, will be available for purchase at the booth, and a table and chair provided for a 15-25 minute book signing.

- Hotel Charges: The DC VegFest will arrange for and pay for hotel accommodations for up to two nights for out-of-town presenters. Presenters are responsible for any additional costs, including but not limited to hotel room service, room upgrades, extended visits, pay-per-view purchases, etc.

- I will submit all unanswered questions to DC VegFest organizers by Fri. July 12, 2019 and understand that if target deadlines are missed, my presentation may be forfeited.
